Emmanuel Dockter

Emmanuel Dockter focuses his practice on all aspects of family law and business advising. His experience as a Marine Corps veteran, father, community volunteer, and business owner, helps him better understand his clients' needs. Whether you are starting a new business, bringing on a business partner, assessing your legal relationships, or deciding how best to co-parent or move on financially after the end of a relationship, Emmanuel can help you understand your options and protect your interests.

In addition to his client representation, Emmanuel is a trained mediator, conciliator, lecturer, author, and court-appointed Guardian ad Litem. Emmanuel lives with his wife and three children in Hanover, and enjoys spending his free time cheering on his kids at their activities.

 

Vanessa O'Connor

vanessaVanessa O'Connor has extensive business and real estate transactional experience from her time as an associate with Goodwin Procter LLP and Robins Kaplan LLP. She has represented clients in complex business, commercial, and residential real estate transactions involving a broad range of issues including financing, joint venture formation, acquisitions and disputations, entity choice and formation, contract negotiation, trademark registration, and nonprofit organization and dissolution. Vanessa brings her large-firm experience to benefit clients throughout the South Shore.

In addition to her client representation, Vanessa is a Clinical Instructor with the Transactional Law Clinics of Harvard Law School. Vanessa lives with her husband and children in Hanover. She serves as an elected member of the Board of Selectmen and has previously served as co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Real Estate Public Service Committee and a Director of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association.

 

 Ann Baum

AnnBsmDpiAnn Baum brings with her a lifetime of experience and expertise, over 50 years, representing clients in complex matrimonial matters and custody disputes, including those involving non-traditional families and high-conflict cases. Law was an uncommon profession for women in the 1960’s and Ann’s has been a trailblazer ever since. In addition to representing clients, Ann has worked as an Associate Professor at Boston College Law School, as the Director of Boston College’s legal clinical program, and as a Managing Attorney with Greater Boston Legal Services.

Ann is a frequent speaker and lecturer throughout Massachusetts and in addition to her work as passionate advocate in the courtroom, she is also a trained mediator, parenting coordinator, and Guardian ad Litem. Outside of law, Ann is a professional chef instructor, an accomplished tournament bridge player, and a loving mother and grandmother.
